Flashband Bostik Flashband Evo-Stik Flashband & Primer Grey 3.75 x 75mm is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flashband This is something all plumbers need this will work every time you just cutting and put on repair easy fix and good price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sticks well Primer included, needs to be painted on and left to dry for a while. Use an old brush though, as when I followed the instructions to wash out with a little detergent and water, the brush was unusable the next day! White spirit or brush cleaner may be better. The self-adhesive tape is good, bonded well; easy to work with, even over awkward areas

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed - poor adhesion Used exactly as described. Used the primer first. Warmed the flashband and still not very tacky but did get it to attach eventually (but not perfect). Expected better. Will not buy this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flashband Originally bought to seal plastic conservatory roof to wall under tiles, works well, been there for 3 years so far. I have also used for other general purpose sealing jobs and it seems to stick to almost anything. have stuck to wood to seal a shed, sealed a hole in plastic water butt all still in place years later. Useful stuff and in a variety of sizes and lengths to do what you need. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been a year so far Applied this to edges of a flat roof to stop leaking and so far it has stayed in place and still looks tightly bonded to the surfaces. It comes with a small pot of primer which was more than enough and is important you use it. Will look to purchase this again for other ad-hoc repairs. It's not supposed to be a permanent fix, but so far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value with primer Great to have the primer included, and cheaper than buying separately. It is surely an essential for most surfaces, eg brick and cement. Primer dries quickly, Flashband easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on tin Excellent product, does just what it says on the tin. Good service and brilliant price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FLASH BAND-AID Using this on my workshop and the conservatory roof/wall seal. Sometimes I use a primer if I have some. What I always use is a decent powered hair-needs to be 1800W minimum I think. Hopefully this should give you a temperature of about 90-100C. (Heat guns tend to be too hot.) This activates the adhesive and you don't really need the primer. Even Bostik say it's better but not essential.
