Irwin Record 135 Series Sash Clamp 36" (914mm) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sash Clamps I already have a set of Forge Steel clamps, but wanted these as I’d read they were top quality and I can’t complain. They are heavier than the Forge Steel ones and well made. They stand up on their own better and hold the work piece as expected Also on offer at the moment and so an absolute bargain 4 stars for reliability as I’ve only just got them, but feel solid so cannot see why they won’t last

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sash clamp Great clamps, well made and very sturdy, should last a life time. Just been in the workshop gluing up, no problems and a joy to use. There are cheeper clamps you can buy but I would recommend these, you get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Clamps Quality product. Worth spending a bit more and getting something you can rely on time and time again. Really solid bit of kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid - 5 stars all round Properly solid clamps - these are definitely built to last and are a pleasure to work with. Went for these as I rated their other clamps and I am not disappointed. For me they are worth the cash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sash Cramps The saying "you get what you pay" for is certainly appropriate for this product. Although on first appearances all sash cramps look very much the same, however, it is not until you use them that the flaws show, e.g. not cramping up squarely because the cramping surfaces splay outwards as soon as you apply any pressure. Having used these type cramps in a busy joiners shop for many years I have never known them fail. The Irwin Record cramps, regardless of size, are first class items which always cramp up smoothly and squarely, if you a professional trades person or a serious amateur don't buy the cheaper versions you will be disappointed and no doubt you will have to replace them with quality products later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Clamps Still one of the best clamps on the market after using a few cheaper clamps I am glad I decided to go back to decent clamps the difference when doing glue ups is so good I wll be replacing all of my cheap claps

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clamp-tastic I don't usually write reviews but these were worth a mention. I bought these after struggling with cheap ones. Don't buy the cheap ones - they are a false economy if you hope to use them a lot. Buy these - they are top quality! I bought cheap sash clamps from screwfix before and hated them every time I had to use them: cheap flimsy things that leave paint from the clamp head on your workpiece, the tightening bar has plastic nobbles that fall off forcing you to resort to bits of gaffer tape to stop them falling out of the clamp, and then finally, after always feeling like they might fall to pieces with every tighten, they finally do. And you throw wasted money in the bin. By contrast, these clamps feel tough, well made and are a pleasure to use. Time will tell, but I'm sure I'll be using them in my workshop for a long time to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality. Easy to use Bought this because I couldn't get long enough hand clamps. but they are excellent quality and worth the slight extra time to turn the clamp screw for the extra force exerted. These should last the rest of my lifetime!
