LAP 13A 2-Gang DP Switched Plug Socket Polished Chrome is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top class products Everything I have purchased has reached me in record time and is exactly as ordered.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Sockets Good sockets with a clip-on chrome face plate which hides back-box screws.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrendous An absolutely horrendous design. These sockets completely fill a 25mm backbox, there is no room for bottom cable entry or level adjustment, the light switches are just as bad. These will look good only if you have perfectly level 35mm+ back boxes in very flat, smooth walls.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product Purchased by a customer for me to install. Very, very dificult to correctly fit and to make look good. Tight to get the cables into the backbox. Plastic main body is flimsy. The face plate needs removing many times and the screws adjusting to get a decent fit. It's still not tight enough for my liking. Also, if your walls aren't 100% flat you will have no chance. I spent hours making good. Spend a little more and buy a better product it will save you in the long run.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LAP 13A 2-Gang DP Switched Plu Lovely sockets they look great fit just like any other socket but when you put on the chrome cover you have now screws showing not a bad price ether.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Barge poles spring to mind Don't touch these LAP products. A customer bought them and asked me to fit. You need perfectly smooth flat plasterwork, and a 35mm back box installed perfectly true. These sockets use a flimsy plastic back plate, and the back of the socket only just fits into the back box. Consequently you cannot adjust or level the socket. Expect several attempts at getting the correct tension on the screws, too loose and it all wobbles or too tight and you can't clip the decorative front plate on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Everything that Glitters! Yes the product is in the region of 50% cheaper than other brands. But what a trouble I had getting the wires back into the wallbox! I was beginning to think there was some con and you had to buy a LAP make box to go with it. I had to shorten all wires but even then it was not a great fit to the wall. I will purchase the more expensive makes in future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not the best for retrofitting customer bought these and asked me to fit. Unless there are deep back boxes, tiles that do not overlap the back box,the cables are top entry and ring only (no spur from it) you will have problems. the Live and Neutral entry points are too close together so the cables are cramped at the bottom. The entry holes and screws are too small and the housing is too close to the edge of the face plate. Compare this item with other makes and you can see the difference. good point is that the metal plate is detachable which hides the mounting screws
