Manrose Cowl Vent White 100 x 100mm is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent replacement Replaced an existing hood which had discoloured with age. This one has a flap in it presumably to deter birds or rodents but easily removed if you don’t want it. Easy to fit. Will fit onto 100mm round or rectangular ducting. Can’t say how reliable it’ll be as only just installed hence 3 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product change ? Used to replace old Manrose flap Vent but quality not as good and fixing holes in different positions, Manrose name not on product or packaging. Have Screwfix changed supplier and products? Flimsy product that makes tapping noise from flap even when no wind . Irritating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cowl vent Needed three cowl vents (100mm) for round and rectangular ducting. These fit the bill perfectly and were half the price of other suppliers in the area. As always brilliant service from Screwfix and the staff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tumble dryer vent Required to replace old tumble dryer vent. Exactly same size. Easily fitted. The flap can rattle a little if the wind is in the wrong direction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from vent cowl Do not let the low costs fool you. This vent did the job for me perfectly. Reliable and isn't rattly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cheap product Needed to replace a louvred vent - being face on to a park, constantly getting battered by the wind and very noisy. This is great - no issues with noise now. Simple to fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hole without a hole This is a good product for drier outlets or extractor fan outlets, it does occasional flap in high winds but nothing major - not like the louvre type which make noise all the time in wind . it is easy to fit and has an extra part which clips on to accept rectangle trunking. The cowl part stops any rain completely. Overall great product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent but beware flap noise Decent (if not expensive for a bit of plastic). No grills on the bottom like the picture shows. I've fitted over 6 and found that in high winds the plastic flap can bang and make noise. In order to avoid this, stick a bit of small thickness foam or draft proofing foam (etc.) to the base where the bottom of the flap would hit. Some parts of it have ever so slightly discoloured from the white colour it should be.
