Manrose XF100LVT/SC 20W Axial Bathroom Fan is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Buy This item was bought as a direct replacement for a customers existing burnt-out bathroom fan so unable to quote on reliability. It was very easy to fit as used existing wiring for the transformer/timer and fan unit, although it would be quite easy to fit from scratch as comprehensive instructions are supplied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two have failed in succession Bought one of these and it failed within 12 months. Found that the fan still worked but no 12V output from transformer box. Bought a replacement, that failed within 6 months. Same again, fan still good but transformer found to have an open circuit on secondary coil. These are not reliable at all! I wouldn't recommend under any circumstance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well. Good value. Good value 12v fan. Works well, standard adjustments for over run. Noise levels will depend on surface the fan is mounted but seems acceptable to me. For those not accustomed to these fans, the transformer is either ceiling surface mounted or within ceiling void but you will need an access hatch or access via loft space as the transformer is too large to feed though a standard 72mm downlighter hole.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Manrose 12v toilet fan Does not contain integral pull cord, so unsuitable for replacement model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fan This fan is good value for money and is straight forward to install. A bit noisy compared to mains fans but not compared to other 12 volt fans. Ideal for when installing in a bathroom zone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again. The first manrose fan lasted 13months until the fan unit failed. Guarantee replacement lasted 18months until fan unit failed again. Not used in a particularly heavy use area (en-suite bathroom used 2-3 times per day) Fan seems noisy compared to others and lack of shutters leads to significant draughts/heat loss in a small en-suite.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from repeated failures I'm a landlord and I've got about 5 of these and I have to replace one about every 18 months. The overrun timers fail (the fan runs when power is on but does not overrun). I could understand it being the odd one, but not the repeated identical failures that I've had. Install transformer in VERY accessible location.
