Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does What it Should Good quality product. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a shaver socket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shaver/toothbrush socket. Unfortunately I cannot give a review of this shaver socket as I could not use it. I bought it as a replacement for an old Chilton unit which has finally failed after 48 years. the box for the Chilton is shorter and wider than the now industry standard boxes so I am having to consider how to fit the new box in the very limited space that I have to work with. If I can work it out I will very definitely buy this shaver unit again as it is the only one I have found that is toothbrush charger rated and also looks the bees knees. The reason for the one star for reliability and performance is because I have not used and does not in anyway deride it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mk shaver socket what can you say mk and its electric toothbrush safe. bought on reviews and the fact its toothbrush safe. i have used mk before and they are the best you can get. cannot take too many chances when used within a bathroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hums a bit... Good quality and I'm not aware of others suitable for toothbrush charging. If surface mounting the 44mm MK 2 gang pattress box fits (screwfix number 19307) but other deeper boxes did not (e.g. The Lisse) Hums slightly in use. Terminals are easy to access. Pricey but looks much better than the old tatty one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is MK still the best? No I paid the extra for this socket after reading several reviews mentioning unacceptable buzzing for other models. Mistake! This one buzzes far more than the 2 other makes I have already fitted in different properties. I will be exchanging it for a 'cheaper, better' socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade / replacement Needed to replace some 20 year old shaver sockets and saw these are officially approved for toothbrushes as well. Nice clean design, works well, charges toothbrushes much better than the old "shaver only" sockets. Hoping for 20 years reliability!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart looking upgrade Easy click and collect purchase, straightforward with decent easy access terminals and a smart looking unit when fitted, surprisingly it's also the only unit I could find that's actually rated for toothbrushes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toothbrush socket. My previous shaver socket was drawing power and getting warm and was only used for my toothbrush. This was the only socket I could find which said it coped with a toothbrush but you had to look at the third photo image on the site to realise this as the main photo does not show this. I think MK could be missing out by not emphasising this .
