Easyfix Solid Copper Panel Pins Solid Copper 1.6 x 30mm 0.25kg Pack is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take note; they are COPPER These pins are excellent when they are used in the materials that they were designed for. If using hardwoods then pilot drill first. Patience and skill is required to hammer them home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from soft non rusting pins Just what I wanted, they are soft but I use them to secure my oil paintings into solid (made by me) oak frames. I drill pilot holes first and tap them in, bending them for a tight fit. this is a temporary fix as the paintings will need to come out for varnishing at a later date

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the job (outdoor glazing). Well manufactured and ideal for the job of fixing glazing strips for outdoor use. I think I saw some reviews saying that they bend easily. I am an absolute amateur having spent 45 years sitting at computer keyboards; I hit the pins accurately on the head and not one has bent (yet!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good pins Ignore the bad reviews of this product, these pins are good quality. I've used these on hardwoods, CLS, board, all sorts of things. They are softer than steel pins, but if you hit them right there's no problem at all. You might want to use a pilot hole on harder woods though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Copper Panel Pins Needed pins when mine ran out whilst I was cladding the inside of my new garage. These proved to be very disappointing. Even though I was only using 3.6mm plywood these pins just aren't up to the task with one after another bending as they went in. Gave up on them and binned the rest, waste of money I'm afraid for anything other the lightest work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All good in general. Compare them to steel and they may be expensive, they may be soft but a far greater percentage are usable from the pack and what's more they won't come soaked in oil and for obvious reasons won't rust. Purchased second pack as I lost original - found original immediately upon return home but won't return them as they are ok to keep for a long time, give a good positive feel when clouted and in most cases only bend when the buffoon hitting them hits off centre! I am that buffoon! Very good item

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Panel pins-No problems ! I was nervous when I read the other review about these 30mm panel pins, but I brought them anyway because Screwfix had them and I needed this length of pin. Okay, so they are a bit pricey, but they were superb, I used an ordinary hammer to drive them into a ceiling, so the angle was a bit difficult, but the pins drove straight in with no problems !!! Would recommend them to anyone---good quality, so good value

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy them! Overpriced and underperforming. More than 50% of them fail - i.e. they bend, even when being pin-hammered into softwood. I won't ever buy these again and I suggest you don't buy them ever.
