PRV With Gauge x is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saviour! My house has water pressure that rises to over 110PSI (7.5bar) overnight. Great for watering the garden but bad for everything else. So I now have three of these regulating my cold water pressure. The latest one was required To get a Screwfix irrigation system working reliably. The stainless steel body makes it ideal for outside use. It was easy to use the 15mm adapters with the good clear instructions that were provided. The oldest unit is on my rising main and has worked reliably for over 10 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bad valve i have just tried fitting this for a friend well it was a waste of time fitting it on 15mm i couldnt tighten it any more even with ptfe and it still leaked! should not be on sale!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not fit!!!!! Very very poor quality! Purchased two and both leaked from cartridge, replaced with Honeywell

Rated 3 out of 5 by from prv. ditch the reducers i,m a professional, i needed to use the 22 to 15mm 1 piece reducers, i have used thousands of this type and they are not good in general. i prefer the 3 piece reducer type where you can ptfe the olive separately. i fitted tails prior to siting the prv and the reducer didnt snap as they should so when fully tight using 2 10" adjustables the pipe tails were still loose, i then used an 18" adjustable and the fitting snapped as it should and the tails seemed tight, when fitted they still leaked so i found some 3 piece reducers in my van, water back on and the tails were good but it sprayed from the plastic adjuster cap so i had to ptfe the thread on the cap. ok after that but i dont expect to have to fit and remove a new part several times. in operation the static pressure will creep up higher so i set at 2.5 bar running and it was reaching 4 bar static so i,m not impressed. pay more for a different fitting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electric shower savers have been replacing Electric showers a little bit too often one due to high water pressure especially after local water main burst and caused shower regulator to split. three units in six months.... This PVR was the answer to prevent unexpected high pressure and keep a constant one. As others have said if fitting to 15mm keep going after the olive seal breaks and use PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE ON THE GUAGE otherwise it will leak

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prv Decent valve, pressure setting was perfect, if you’re using the reducers make sure to paste up and tighten them up even more after the snap!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Value for money It clearly isn't the best made in the world but then that is reflected in the price. I made a mistake when adjusting the pressure and turned the whole head rather than the brass screw in the top.Even though I just 'nipped' it it leaked like a sieve. Had to take it apart to put PTFE around the thread to stop it. This was when I saw how rusty it was inside! Can't comment on reliability as I only fitted it yesterday! Did the job and customers shower now works even though someone fitted it years ago with imbalanced pressures!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Save money - spend more I spent too long installing one of these and struggled to get it sealed. The flow rate was very poor compared with the PRV that I replaced - pressure dropped from 3bar to 1.5bar when I opened a tap. I took it back and replaced it with a Honeywell - thanks Screwfix - which took minutes to fix. The build quality is chalk and cheese and the flow rate is back to normal. Save a lot of time - buy the Honeywell version.
