Stanley Combination Square 305mm is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 90.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rather Expensive Not the worst square in the world. It’s awfully expensive as well, I only bought it because I couldn’t find mine and then two days later you can guess what happened - I found it! But to sum up an average tool for an expensive price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy and weighty Feels nice and weighty not flimsy like the cheaper ones, its accurate with regard to angles and the measurement marks are a fairly good etch depth. The lock nut feels strong and locks off solidly. You need a bit of WD40 in the ruler groove because it feels a bit tight, I think the reason is the cutting out of the groove is a bit rough, like its been run through too fast on the miller so you get this wave effect on the surface, I would have expected a better finish on this part for the price, but nothing a bit of polishing can't sort out using a lolly stick and some 120 grit sandpaper. All in all I'd give it an a 4, had it been better finished off to match its price tag It would have been given a five but because I had to finish the job it drops a point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from STANLEY COMBINATION SQUARE 305 Its a good square and does the job, not as good quality as my 10 year old stanley square , but that is down to Stanley. I needed it and as normal it was in stock at my local Screwfix.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from misleading picture Picture suggests it is 'made in England' - in actual fact it is made in China. I wouldn't have bought the most expensive option had I known.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dodgy spirit level On the whole a good tool. The only negative for me is that the spirit level is slightly off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as Bahco Honestly, the Bahco model is better. Smoother, less play & cheaper

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job The Stanley tool feels good quality and does the job, it is accurate angles

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a Stanley, no more to say Great product, does exactly what you would expect. Easy screw clamp onto the rule and holds it tightly with no wobble as you scribe along.
