Swirl Exposed Thermostatic Mixer Shower Valve Chrome is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, Better price. Fitted a couple of these as replacements for, dearer, broken items. Customers amazed at speed of job, and the bill. Had no complaints about either giving problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from shower bar Fitted a few of these now for customers wanting a cheaper unit. There easy to fit easy to use and give enough water to get wet in the shower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not suitable as replacement This shower valve seems intended as a replacement as it is supplied without a riser rail, hose or head. However the design of the hot and cold water connections is such that it won't seal to existing mounting/connections unless they have an unobstructed internal bore going back about 6mm or so. Many mounting arrangements - including popular fittings like Swirl's own wall mount fixing kit (Screwfix stock no: 8669H) won't necessary have this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not compatible Swirl wall mnt Bought this valve and found it didn't fit my existing wall mount, so bought a Swirl wall mount. Same make, must fit right? Wrong. The connection on hte wall mount is nowhere near deep enough to take the valve connections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product. My old valve was leaking so I fitted one of these. It was a struggle to get on as the protuberance of the pipe tails didn't suit this valve so had to rework the pipe tails. It has been in place a few months now and works well with no leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speedy Excellent service,Product good quality, easy to use controls, but I did need a fixing kit as the new valve wasn't the same fixings as the one I was replacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install Bought this as a replacement for an Ideal Standard mixer that costs substantially more. This was super easy to install and is working fine. Time will tell as regards reliability but all round good solid purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from swirl shower valve As this product is to replace a bar shower [ no rail kit is included ] Why does it come with z reducers in the box Well the answer is because it only fits onto z reducers , as they are not rebated inside the bore If you are fitting onto existing bar shower fixing kits , this valve does not fit without leaking. [ as the rebated section stops the valve making up to the seals ] It would be silly asking the installer to fit the z fittings on an already tiled wall So beware as this is not detailed in the sales information
