Titan TTB277SDS Corded SDS Plus Drill 230V is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great medium sized drill I've bought titan before and the look and use of the equipment has been improved massively. My old cordless and corded drills(both titan) are wearing out( 5 years + old) and decided to go for this corded one instead. I have only had the drill a week but no problem so far. last night I did a 40mm core hole and the clutch is better than the old arm snapper I had, this one works lots better. the core hole took 3 to 4 mins, it flew through the wall with ease, the drill felt light and easy in use. I would recommend this for breaking, ive used it for that too, but for drilling its excellent. reasonable price too....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job well Did the job well for just over 2 years it was my go to drill for masonry drilling. Went through most stuff like butter. Motor burnt out just out of guarantee and hammer seemed to wear out just before the end but owed me nothing by then. Going to buy another one exactly the same as this thing does the job at a reasonable price. Ive used to drill masonry 6mm-22mm for regular use. Used it as a breaker once to take a wall down! Considering its compact size it can do most jobs with ease. Bought one of the bigger titan sds drills to replace but its too big and bulky for everyday use so back to my old faithful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Titan SDS great for price Bought this drill about a year ago to help with the bigger jobs on a major renovation. Great at: Chiselling tiles off wall Removing plasterboard Drilling large wholes into brickwork for wastepipes Not so great at: Breaking concrete In truth, I’ve used this drill a fair bit and had no problems, really makes light work of drilling and chiselling but I tried to use it recently to break up an 8cm layer of concrete and it started leaking oil. Followed by a rattling noise and then overheated. Fair play to Screwfix, top class service as always, straight swap. I chose to take another as like I stated it’s excellent at chiselling and drilling. But I’d recommend a heavier breaker if you want to tackle concrete. Overall it’s perfect for what I use it for normally. So I would recommend as its lightweight and the accessories you get a brilliant

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chuck out of alignment Seems a common problem with this drill. I know it is a cheap drill but having the chuck aligned is the most basic requirement of any drill and my drill utterly fails. It vibrates excessively and even short bits have far too much wobble to be used. I guess it could still be worth something as a lightweight breaker in hammer only mode but I payed for a drill, so will be returning it ASAP!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good performance Light, well balanced and powerful drill, good for my general DIY use. Makes short work of drilling holes but not as good as some of the heavier SDS drills for chipping / breaking, (which have had previously) as believe the weight of a drill helps with chipping / breaking. But specifically wanted a lighter drill so am happy with the trade off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks Grease when Chiseling Bought this item as a reasonable priced drill, for diy around the house. First job was to chisel though an internal wall of breeze block construction about 2 sq metres , in my opinion as a maintenance engineer this drill was not over worked but after about 1 1/2 hours tea break in between graphite grease began to be flung out from cooling vents messy. Could not even use this for drilling now would be thowing grease everywhere. Local centre replaced it with identical one, as I thought this was a one off problem,1/2 hour later with new drill more leaking grease, nuff said!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good SDS Drill for the money Got tired trying to drill into concrete with my Bosch rotary hammer drill. This is the first SDS drill I have owned. Looked at all the reviews and was sceptical about buying non-branded product. But as my Bosch drill gave up the ghost, this drill looked a good replacement. I used it first time today to finish drilling into concrete. Performed very well and finished the job in a fraction of the time that a rotary hammer drill would take. Only gave 4 stars because I have not had time to use all features yet. But with 2 years warranty, who can grumble. Would consider buying other Titan products.
