Titan TTB705BDS 80mm Bandsaw 230-240V is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little tweaking... Some info that may be of use... Blade length of mine is : 1575mm as per manual. BIGGEST ISSUE...Top thrust bearing: with the blade correctly positioned it was impossible to adjust the top bearing back enough to stop it touching the blade when not cutting. I took out the rod holding the thrust bearing and turned it around which improved things a little, but still had to file out approx 1.0mm from the front edge of the plastic to enable it to slide away a little more. I may make a new rod with better positioned screw holes or perhaps source smaller bearings. With the lack of thrust bearing adjustment I can't see a way to fit a larger width blade than that supplied (6.35mm). Rip Fence : when flat to the table the lugs under the lock handle end don't catch the underside of the table, so the fence wobbles badly. I wound electrical tape around the fence at the lock end to take up the slack. Also the catch at the other end tilts inwards when locked making it less secure. I folded a piece of rubber and squeezed behind the catch so it doesn't tilt back so much. Fence much more secure now. Blade guard assembly: very stiff to move up and down. The 4 screws holding it to the frame were over tight. Loosed the screws and a spray of oil fixed it. IMO the blade guard and thrust bearing adjustment assembly is the machines weakest point. Despite the issues it cuts well and is sufficient for my DIY purposes. Well worth the money. (I had the same kind of fettling to do with my Titan table saw but it's worked very well since)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caution blade length! Brilliant value machine, particularly after upgrading the blade which by common agreement seems to be made of cheese. No links here but your search engine of choice will get you there. A word of warning: the blade length specification on the saw I bought is wrongly labelled as 1575mm, both on the box AND on the Screwfix website. My saw blade is actually 1570mm. To add a bit of complication, the 3rd party blade supplier I'm using have seen the problem before with this model - but some versions of the same model do seem to take a 1575mm blade.. Moral of the story: if you do upgrade, do some measuring first!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bandsaw Wow I first brought a Bandsaw over 30 years ago for my Dad and it didn’t last long before the band broke however this one has been put through a lot and I can say it’s brilliant I wish it was around back then my Dad would have loved it longer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good bandsaw It took no time to set up, very basic and easy, I then through my own choice spent a while tweaking it, after fully tweaking, I gave it a good run for its money. The standard blade is good for a generic blade, the only downside is, if you push it to fast (as in faster than a snail moves) the blade does try and wonder off a bit even with the guide arm down and the guide pins in very close. Another downpoint is the table, although strong, I found it a little flimsy with bigger bits of wood, but to be honest, for what I would actually use it for 99% of the time, it's not a problem. The unit itself is fine, feels solid, it has legs at the back to make sure it doesn't tip and the motor is quiet enough, the only downside for me, was when I come to change the blades over, instead of quick release quarter turn screws to open the saw blade covers, it has screws which need turning around 20+ times. Now this is however a good safety feature, but also a pain. As for value for money though, I think anyone that doesn't need a big bandsaw, should buy this! I've tried a couple of different ones now, both cheaper and more expensive, but this has by far shocked me the most, it is as good if not better than the more expensive models of this size. Don't waste your money on them, trust me and buy this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect hobby bandsaw I bought this to make some soft and hardwood Christmas tree decorations. The initial setup was a little fiddly to get the saw properly tuned up and ready for accurate cuts. I have only had it for the past week but have been using it a lot, but as for reliability it is too early but with a 2 year warranty and screwfix's friendly and helpful approach too their customers I doubt many problems will come up. Good bandsaw and I am happy with my purchase.
