Tesla Titanium Immersion Heater Element 27" is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tesla Titanium Immersion Heat Item Purchased 27/10/17 was used for approx 15 days then I ran the water and it was boiling in the tank so ran water off and I went to inspect the tank and the tank insulation had ruptured as the thermostat had failed and stuck on ruining my tank. I went back to screwfix to replace the unit, I then installed it and after 2 months it blew all the electrics in the house and when the electrician inspected it and found the element a dead short and melted all the wiring from the immersion heater to the isolation switch. I would never use these again and are obviously mass produced with no proper quality control at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor quality control Fitted for customer set to 60 overheated had to go back. Poor quality control. thermostat not calibrated properly. İf I was a customer would get decent brand with 5 year guarantee. Screwfix might have good return policy but I would rather have a good product. Waste of time. Last one lasted 4 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As hoped The element fitted in the old slot very well, and has worked for a couple of months now, and is run every day from the solar panels on the roof. One thing to note is that I left the temperature cutoff at the default setting (something like 70 degrees). Unfortunately when this inevitably tripped due to the hot and sunny weather, it also tripped the RCD. I didn't notice this until I failed to get hot water! This is just something to note, and doesnt detract from the unit which has worked perfectly. Having said that, I'd like to have seen the inards updated to make the trip state obvious from the outside, and make the electrical connections easier to make. I guess it was originally designed 50 years ago and why change now eh?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In hot water again!! Of course performance and reliability will only be proved in time but I was pleased to find the titanium one because we have very hard water The old ones can prove to be very tight and not being a professional I didn't possess the correct box spanner so I used a 3' record clamp and used it like a large king dick spanner. It's also great that there's a thermostat fitted and partly wired up

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after 16 months Well it worked well for 14 months and then failed and the warranty was 12 months. I would not buy this brand again. Built in obsolescence?
